Bye Bye...
So long, farewell to my parents. I hope they have a GREAT time in Ireland until the 29th...but until then, I'm home alone with my sister. Sometimes I think that's a great thing because we can be totally crazy and no one can stop us. But sometimes it just sucks because all of a sudden one of us is in one of those horrible PMS mood swings and there's no one to stop the arguments or fights. None has happened and I hope none start!
The party is still on for Tuesday and if you haven't checked your email about it...check it now! NOW!!! *clears throat* Anyways, before my parents left, my mom took Abby and I to business depot to get some last second buys (it was a 15% discount today at BDs) We got ink cartridges, laptop backpacks (made by the swiss army company) and laptop locks.
There was the most incompentent person helping us for the ink cartridges. I was off looking at ipod stuff when my mom goes to get the cartridges. She asks this one woman (blonde, white, possibly late 40s?...and still working at Business Depot?!) and she looks through that little booklet with all the different models and the cartridges they take. My mom said "hp psc 750", the woman looks through it and says "ok, it should be number 12 (or some other obscure number)."
Mom: Hmm, do they still have those colour and black ink duel packages?
Dumb Salesclerk: Um, I don't think they sell those anymore together because it's such an old model.
At this point I'm a little confused since we bought this brand new printer at the beginning of my gr. 12 year so...wtf? I went over to the little booklet to see where the hell this woman saw this model. She was actually in the HP Fax section and was looking at that. I kept saying, "um, but this is the fax section, we have a printer/copier/scanner". But she kept defending herself by saying "oh, but this is the model, HP 750". I flip to the Printer/Scanner/Copier section and TADA!! There is OUR printer with the RIGHT cartridge numbers...and yes, they still sell them in duel packages. Afterwards, the sales clerk said, "you can get the Business depot cartridges for about $10 less". My mom and I discuss a little bit because we weren't sure whether to get reused cartridges that Business Depot is reselling without telling HP about it. We decide against and get new cartridges for $10 more because the cartridges can last me for almost the entire year. We tell this to the sales clerk and she gives us the "ARE YOU GUYS FUCKING STUPID?!" look that I HAAATTTEEEE. We get the stuff and leave and I wished I punched that useless blonde idiotic sales clerk in her inch thick makeup face.
After that, my mom and I dropped my sister off at her boyfriend's house and we went to Bridlewood to check out some boomboxes on sale in The Source a.k.a Radioshack. It wasn't open yet so we checked out K-Mart which was next door. I bought myself some really REALLY comfy Serta pillows and a winne the pooh pillow case and matching twin bed cover set. It is SOOOOOO adorable. There definitely goes my colour scheme.
