Shop Till You Drop

The shopping for university stuff has BEGUN!
Went to Staples on Sunday and bought myself all this stuff that I probably don't really need but want. Like this 10 colour pen set that I got...ooo, so many colours! (Note to people: do NOT buy gel pens to write notes with because they'll stop working the moment you need them the most). My sister and I were also thinking about buying backpacks that can carry our laptops in because we're both going to be biking a lot next year and having one of those business sidebags that weigh a crapload by themselves is going to be a bit of a hassle. My parents have decided to not buy me a new printer, but give me the 3in1 we have at home right now and my dad is going to replace it with this $250 fancy digital photo printer/scanner/copier that he couldn't take his eyes off once we stepped foot into Staples. There are still so many things that I NEED to buy (from Ikea, woo!), like a bed, and a desk and possibly a lamp (and maybe more clothes hehe..). I've decided that I'm going to make my furniture as black as possible (the stuff that I'm buying anyways) because I wanted my room to somewhat coordinate. Except for the two pieces of white furniture that comes with the room, I want everything else to be black. It all started in Walmart when I bought that black hamper...my parents came up with the idea that I should buy everything black so I agreed. So far, I have the black hamper, the black(-ish) mini boom box, and a black garbage can (that I got from Kitchen Stuff I think the name was, the place was really cool with lots of crazy stuff that you would never imagine buying. Like this chess/drinking game where it has the chess board but the pieces are shotglasses, or roulette where different shotglasses represent a different range of numbers). Hopefully from Ikea, I can get a black frame bed and other stuff but I know in the end my room is going to look like nothing because I'm getting a floral pattern comforter from my grandma (which is REALLY REALLY comfortable I don't think I even need a bed) and all this other stuff. Maybe I can get some red in there or something...but yea, Ikea shopping!!
Other than that, I need to get a DVD burner because my computer has about...359 Mb left because I'm trying to download all seven seasons of Buffy and I don't think I can. I only have about 3 seasons right now and I really want to get season 2!!! Ahh!! Angel turning evil!! It took me about 2 years to get over Buffy and then Razer replaces MTV Canada and bam! Playing all the old Buffy episodes again, and my crush for Spike has returned (oh man, the chiseled cheek bones and that platinum blonde hair? HOT). Ok, where was I? Oh right, dvd burner. Yea, I need one of those and also DVD-Rs then too. Does anyone know where I can get a decent burner for cheap? And also dvd-rs? I was thinking of looking in Pmall but on the other hand, it IS pacific mall (the place of disorientation and horrible parking lots).

Try tigerdirect.ca. It's less crazy there...and near FMP.

ok, each buffy season is about 22 files, and each cd can fit about 2 files, meaning I would need about 11 cds for ONE season, and there are 7. And I don't have 77 cds =S.

also want to make it watchable on a dvd player...but I mean, I know it's cheaper, but I also don't want to sit around and burn 77 cds which take about...25 minutes each.
