Less Than A Week To Go!

Work is almost done, and I'm kindof excited that I won't be doing anything important (or productive really) for a week, and then my parents going to Ireland for another week....now THAT'S called summer holiday! The raccoons have not come back since my last post and my dad couldn't be happier. Went to Jeff's yesterday and it was alright, except he had no a/c, I was sweating like a watermelon just talking to Carol on the phone! Ah yes, she was on the phone with various people for like an hour and a half. But yea, it was really nice talking to her again since I haven't spoken to her since school ended. We got onto the topic of buying stuff for the dorm, and it hits me that I'm probably one of the only people graduating who's living in a house next year (as in, not my own house). My dad now wants me to live in a dorm for second year, but I don't know if I want to. The whole point of living in a dorm is to transition you to live in a house (according to Abby's logic), and that makes sense to me. But yea, it would still be nice to live in an actual dorm since we've been "training" to by going to Queens and living in that dorm.
I have to say that I really enjoy looking through the Ikea Catalogue. I wish I had the money to have an entirely room refurnished with Ikea products. The major things I need from there is a desk (for my sweet sweet lappy) and a bed for...sleeping and studying of course. There was this circular bed that they had that I REALLY wanted, but it was almost $2000. Having an empty room to put in and decorate however I want for a year is really making me think about what theme I should do. But I mean, what other theme than Coca-cola? There was this really cute pop can cd thingy that kindof sits sideways, and when you put the front, it slides out and you can put all your cds in it. That would fit so well into the room, except it's not very stable. So I don't know if I want to make a Coke theme because I'll be too distracted..maybe I'll just make the room LOOK like an Ikea room, but not actaully an Ikea room (oooooo.....), since I'm sure that theme would be much easier to follow through. (See, I just talked myself out of another thing!)
