Reading Week!!!

Yes! It's here and I'm enjoying it immensely. It's so nice to go to bed and not have to worry about what time to wake up in the morning...well, except for maybe today (technically yesterday). I got my mom to drop me off at Stella's res at Vic College so we could do some shopping at Eaton's centre. It was pretty sweet, we got a lot of loot. We also had breakfast at McDs which wasn't the most healthy breakfast BUT I did finally get to see the insides of a McGriddle and I only have this to say: DON'T EAT MCGRIDDLES IF YOU LOVE YOUR LIFE. Gross...got some good pictures though *shakes fist at stella*
Afterwards, we met up with Stephanie at Woburn C.I and visited some teachers. They all look the same and most of them were happy to see us *cough* A. Chan *cough*. I was definitely excited when I was walking towards all the classroom doors. Woburn definitely has a "presence" and it was nostalgic to "feel" it again. After class was dismissed, we crashed the badminton practice and I wish I stayed when the team started to play games but we were running late to meet Carol and Neena for dinner! We had to meet them in downtown in half an hour! (Totally impossible by the way). But back to badminton, it was nice to hold a racquet again and play with friends. MacBaddy Club sucks ass compared to playing in a team. It was also nice to see Mrs. Billinghurst and Enright again. Probably the nicest (and smallest) coaches I will probably ever meet.
Now on to this downtown business. When Stella and I left Woburn, we still haven't eaten lunch yet, and when we got to the restaurant - a very fancy moroccan restaurant - the portions were really REALLY tiny. It was definitely not worth the money, even though it was really delicious. I spent $30 for dinner and I was still starving. We walked over to Union Station and I bought a large frieds from McDs. I just realized that I started and ended my day with McDonald's....that's really disappointing.
I only have two more days left in Toronto and I'm going back to Hamilton friday morning! And I'm not doing anything tomorrow either...I'm just staying at home..by myself... *sniff sniff*.

Valentine's Day

So another week (and a bit) has passed. Thank goodness. I found out that I actually DID pass my chemistry test (woo!) with a miserable 58% percent. How horrible is that?! Ah well, without those part marks I would have failed so...yay partmarks! My bio test was alright, and I think that will be my one good test that I'll take during these midterms. I got my stats test in about 45 minutes..it shouldn't be too hard.
On another note...it's valentine's day! Anything special happen to anybody? I remember back in the day of elementary school where we all make/buy valentine's and hand them to everybodyat. I miss making the little heart mailbox and all the valentines.
I got a nice balloon and a book today from Kyle (thank you =) ).
I'm coming home this saturday morning (sorry stell!) and I'm leaving again the friday morning before school starts because my parents decided to go to mexico and therefore drive me back to hamilton 3 days early. My sis said she might come and visit me for those three days, so it's not all bad..teehee!
I was thinking of dying my hair again, not sure what colour though.

Slaughtered

By a test that is. Chem test to be totally exact. I didn't really have time to study at all because I had the test was on friday and my physics test was the day before that. So before my physics test, all I studied WAS physics (which I don't think I did too well on either). So technically, I didn't really start studying Chemistry until 2 am of that night. This was also due to the fact that I had to finish a psych report and send it to one of my group mates, and also there was a chemistry report writeup that I hadto do which had like a crapload of calculations. PLUS I had to finish writing up my biology notebook and read up on my physics lab I had the next day (same day as my chemistry lab!) So yes, so far no one has passed this chemistry test. Go Bellcurve! RIP brain.
Next week is going to be much easier and then the week after that it's hell again. That week, I got two tests (stats and psych) and a couple of assignments that I don't remember due. Not too shabby eh?
On a similar note, I'm noticed how university is actually bad for your health. Not getting enough sleep, drinking loads and loads of coffee and caffeine-related drinks, running to class in your pajamas in -10 degrees weather, and for res people, living in close vicinities to people who are sick. Ick.
