My Day

Man! Today was one busy day. The Incredibles is the bestest movie ever. I LOVED IT. I want to see it again. I also had to pay 10.25 for the mexicasa nacho deal before the movie, totally not worth it. The nachos were stale, and the cheese had no taste, it tasted like gooey water (eeew?) The Cavalcade was actually quite magnificant after all the singing performances. There weren't has many lights as I thought there were, but there were a lot more performances after they lit the tree, like awesome performances...not crappy singing ones (bleck). Some of them involved Cirque Du Soleil kindof gymnastics, some ballet, and this one woman who sang I Believe I Can Fly, but the speakers and the mic were so busted from all the bass beats from the singing performances that half of the time, you couldn't hear what the woman was saying (which was fine because I hate that song). My favourite performance would be this fire dancing one. It was soooo totally awesome. They lit metal circle things on fire, and there were 5 people, each twirling like 8 batons, so it looked like a fan kind of thing; and there was this one dancer, who was on the roof or the observation deck, and she/he (not sure) had these metal wings that they lit on fire , and also a little metal halo that they also lit on fire. It also looked like she had little fireballs in her/his hands, but the person was probably holding little bowls of oil or something. Anyways, that was my favourite performance. Sunday is going to be homework and more homework, maybe I can slip a little shopping break in there to buy earmuffs.

Cavalcade of Lights!

Woohoo! It's the weekend! Happy happy happy days. My weekend is going to be so busy though, well, more like my saturday is going to be so busy. Wake up early, do my homework (meaning Kumon, yuck!), go to the lunchdate with my aunt and cousin (chinese lunch, boring!), go to Kumon (double yuck!), go see the Incredibles if the playing times are alright (yay! good part!), and then end the day off with going to Nathan Phillips Square for the Cavalcade of Lights (excellent). The Cavalcade is also so magnificant every year (especially if you have VIP tickets, thanks mom!), and I wonder if the people are planning to use the nearby apartment again as a giant screen for some awesome picture cartoon majigs; those are always pretty creative.
My mom and I went to Blockbuster to use that "7 free favourites rentals" from buying Shrek 2 (excellent movie), but the catch is that you can only rent one at a time, and in seven consecutive weeks; and if you miss a week, you miss a movie. We missed a movie because we were way too busy to go rent it last week. But this week, we rented AI to watch, and lo and behold! Its playing on CBC on Saturday, which is TOMORROW!!!!! I guess we couldn't predict it was going to be played, but still it sucks. I wonder what movie we'll rent this weekend...

The End of Charity Week!

Another almost uneventful week gone by. This week at school however, was exceptionally loud at lunch time because of charity week. People raising money for a good cause....Or so they say. Different homerooms had to come up with something to do for charity week that will raise money for some group; activities varied from tossing coins, massages, bake sales, pie throwing (at each other of course), to marriage booths (set up by the prefects). Yup, loads of interesting things this week, except if you have to study for tests during lunchtime! Speaking of different things to do for charity week, my homeform, 10-12 racquets did nothing. The homeform I'm in never does anything! It's crazy, maybe it's just my luck, or maybe it's just my homeroom teacher. Anyways, this week was fun and I'm happy.

four more weeks! (right?)

Wow, I really haven't updated for a long time. I've been so busy lately, studying for tests at a time (teachers just love to pile tests on you at the same time), preparing presentations, and also being sick (sucks!). There are so many things to do for the first three days of next week:
Monday: physics lab report and English media presentation
Tuesday: biology test (I never do good *sniff*)
Wednesday: chemistry test (I never do good here too! *double sniff*)
On top of that, I lost my voice today because of a sore throat (plus a happy little virus).
I watched Team America: World Police a week (two weeks) ago, and it was pretty hilarious. Especially the songs (AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS!!!). I want to see the Incredibles, but since I've been so busy doing all this schoolwork, I haven't had time. Has anyone seen National Treasure yet? From what I remember from the previews, it reminded me a whole lot like The DaVinci Code (everyone has read this right?). The DaVinci Code is one of the best books I've read, its got suspense, mystery, and lots of code breaking, which is always awesome. Dan Brown's prequel (or sequel?) to The DaVinci Code is called Angels and Demons. It has the same basic format of the main character having to crack a code, but it is set in Rome (very beautiful city), and there is of course, the female character who has some male relative involved with this code....but it is a really good book too. My sister and I were talking about who would play the main character if the DaVinci Code was every put into a movie. A few minutes later, we see the trailer for National Treasure (we were in a theatre, duh), and it reminded us way too much of the DaVinci Code.
My life has been a real drag lately. Too many tensions, too many sad days. I hope it gets better.

Its been so long!

So far today, I haven't left my house....Well, the property of my house anyways. I went outside for about 15 mins. To rake up the leaves and put them into the paper bags (yay! How exciting!). I can't wait to watch volleyball on Monday and see our team kick some ass (the woburn wildcats can really kick some ass)...But they're against so tough competition since its the semifinals. So, GOOD LUCK WILDCATS! WOOOO! I also can't wait till Thursday to watch the OC! I know, I know, why is everyone talking about that show? Well, its because its an awesome show. I didn't really start watching it until the end of last season's, but man, it was good. I missed this one part of the premiere because I had to eat dinner, and I'm sure I missed a lot..Which is why I can't wait to watch the next episode on Thursday! I'm not really a hardcore fan of the OC, but its a really good show (I still have a problem with mischa barton's manly voice).
Our kitchen is done! It's beautiful! I mean, in three days, the contractor (along with all the supplies that WE had to buy) were able to bring our ugly puke yellow 70's kitchen to a nice 20th white, clean kitchen...minus the ugly stove and fridge. I didn't mention the dishwasher because we bought a new one! (stainless steel!). This weekend was sooo relaxing since I had barely any homework to do, and hopefully I can go out and see the Incredibles on Thursday (early dismissal!).
Oohh! Time for dinner...tata!

no
You're ordinary. You don't care if people think you're
weird or not pretty. You just want everyone to
know you're not a creep. You're just yourself which
makes you cool in your own way:)
